\nFor many years now, Belledonne Communications has been taking part in European events promoting open-source projects, whether as an exhibitor or as a speaker. In 2023, we also participated in trade fairs focusing on collaborative solutions for end-users. They were opportunities to share ideas, meet with pen source and technology enthusiasts, and present our latest SIP-based software solutions.<\/p>\n
Free and Open source Software Developers\u2019 European Meeting (FOSDEM) \u2013 Open-source sharing<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n FOSDEM<\/strong>\u00a0is one of the largest gatherings of open-source developers and enthusiasts in Europe, with thousands of people making the trip to the meeting in Brussels, Belgium,\u00a0every year. This year\u2019s event was an opportunity to attend talks given by experts and enthusiasts in the area of communications. Thanks in part to the talks we led, our team was able to interact with a dedicated community and share our common passion for open-source projects.<\/p>\n Watch the replays of the\u00a0talks we hold in the RTC and Security dev rooms:<\/strong><\/p>\n Digital Workplace 2023 (DW23) \u2013 Collaborative tools<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n The\u00a0Digital Workplace<\/strong>, a French\u00a0event\u00a0in Paris, was an opportunity for us to present our advanced communications solutions tailored to professional environments. We were able to give a practical demonstration of Linphone used in a company\u2019s information system.<\/p>\n OW2con\u2019 \u2013 Open-source community<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n The\u00a0OW2con<\/strong>\u2019 conference took place in France, France and focuses on topics related to open source and free software in general. It\u00a0provided us with an opportunity to explain the various income models that helped our company develop over the years,\u00a0as an open-source software editor (watch the replay<\/u><\/a><\/span>). This event sparked a number of\u00a0discussions<\/u><\/a><\/span>\u00a0that fostered the emergence of new relationships.\u00a0OW2 also features\u00a0talks\u00a0on standards and technologies, community-building and governance, cloud security, and financing methods.<\/p>\n We are now\u00a0a\u00a0member of OW2<\/u><\/a><\/span>. This membership testifies to our ongoing commitment to the principles of open-source software development and shows that we are dedicated to supporting the growth of this community.<\/p>\n OSXP \u2013 Open-source IT solutions<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n Open Source Experience is a flagship event for the open-source community in France, providing a major forum for sharing and collaboration.
